Food
We like Mitchells in St Andrews and Balgove just outside the town as well
as the St Andrews Farmhouse Cheese Company near Anstruther. Finally, there’s a Farmers’
Market in St Andrews on the first Saturday of each month, and on the third Saturday
of each month in the county town of Cupar. Take a look:

Shops
St Andrews has a great range of niche, independent shops and a good selection
of high-end chains. Try: www.visit-standrews.com/shops.php for more information.
You’ll find most high street names in Dundee, while Edinburgh offers word-class
shopping including the only Scottish branch of Knightsbridge favourite Harvey Nichols.
In recent years Fife has also become a centre for the arts, with an Open Studios
event and the internationally renowned Pittenween Arts Festival every summer. Most
of the East Neuk villages have galleries or working studios selling unique, handmade
items. Continue >>
